In recognition of the increased financial strains that many people are now experiencing Aura have introduced a number of membership offers to allow people to maintain their fitness routines at a price they can afford.

“People are naturally more price conscious during a recession and we are committed to ensuring that anyone who wants to keep up their exercise routine can continue do so at an affordable price,” explained Sarah Byrne, Operations Manager at Aura Dundalk Leisure Centre.

“We would like to encourage people who want to start exercising to become a member so anyone who signs up for 99 days membership will only have to pay €99. This price includes free health screening and fitness assessment,” Sarah added.

Aura has also introduced a new initiative which allows all members visiting its gym and pool facilities to bring one friend for free on each Friday during November and this offer will now be extended to December.

“We see no reason why exercising with friends can not become the new alternative to coffee mornings or a night out at the pub. It is healthier, it is fun and it is cheaper all round and we have received a great response since we launched this initiative at the start of the month,” Sarah continued.

“At Aura we understand that people are finding it increasingly difficult to keep up their health and fitness routines. In order to encourage people to stay positive and active we have introduced a number of membership offers which allow people to work out at a cost they can afford,” explained Sarah.

“Everybody knows the importance of exercise. A healthy body is a healthy mind and staying positive and motivated about all aspects of your life should be the top of the agenda for everyone” explained Sarah.
