Aura celebrate 1st Anniversary in style with party for members
News released: 9th Oct 2009
Aura Tullamore Leisure Centre is celebrating its first Birthday this month by hosting two ‘Cheese and Wine Reception Nights’ for its founder members to take place on Wednesday, 21st October and Friday, 23rd October.
Aura is one of the most popular family recreational centres in Tullamore and to mark it’s first Birthday the staff at the popular venue have organised a special evening to celebrate the success of their first year.
All of the fun gets underway at 8 p.m. with a cheese and wine reception for guests. There will be limited edition Founder Member t-shirts, goody bags and annual guest pass vouchers worth €100 given out on the night. Guests will also have the opportunity to renew their Aura memberships for the same price as last year.
Auras fully qualified gym instructors will also be on hand to meet members, answer any questions they have about their fitness plans and to ensure that they are getting the most out of their Aura memberships.
“We felt the best way to celebrate our first Anniversary would be to host a special reception for our founder members as a way of thanking them for their loyal support throughout the last year. As we are constantly striving to improve our services and facilities at Aura we also thought this evening would be the perfect opportunity to get some feedback from them. We are always interested in hearing what our members and customers have to say about the centre. That way we can ensure that all of our facilities and services remain top class,” added Alun.
Aura is also reminding parents that they are now taking enrolments for the next course of its popular ‘Swim Academy’ which gets underway on the Monday, November 2nd. Enrolment costs €73.50 for the ten weeks and includes a free skills assessment. Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment and a 10% discount applies for Aura members.
“The Aura ‘Swim Academy’ is suitable for children of all ages and all abilities. Each child is assessed at the beginning of the course and is put into a class that reflects their ability rather than their age so that they are learning alongside children of the same standard. We feel this is the best way to teach children as it allows them the opportunity to progress at their own pace,” explained Alun.
Further information on the Aura ‘Swim Academy’ or any of the classes or programmes taking place at Aura Tullamore is available by contacting reception at 057 9329398.
