Aura host free ‘Health and Fitness Information Event’ at Discover Tullamore Day

Anyone looking for some motivation to get their autumn fitness programme up and running have been handed the perfect opportunity, thanks to Aura Tullamore Leisure Centre who is hosting a free ‘Health and Fitness Information Event’ at the upcoming Discover Tullamore Day.

Aura’s fully qualified gym instructors will be available between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to meet all visitors at the event which takes place in the Texas Warehouse Store in Tullamore town centre on Sunday, 4th October.

“People can come along and get advice from our instructors, make an appointment for a free fitness assessment and see how we can help you achieve your health and fitness goals,” explained Alun Davies Operations Manager at Aura Tullamore Leisure Centre.

“Aura’s fully qualified fitness instructors will be on hand to provide body fat testing and advise people on any nutritional or health questions they may have. It promises to be a great day where people can learn loads and more importantly see how we can help them with their personal health and fitness goals. There will also be numerous discount vouchers and special membership offers available on the day” added Alun.

Aura will also be showcasing their hugely successful Zig Zag Dance Mat at the event giving children the chance to show off their dance skills with a series of fun interactive games. Aura Tullamore has recently teamed up with Zig Zag to launch Ireland’s first fitness related dance mat class.

“We have been gauging youngster’s reactions over the last few weeks with the dance mats and they have proved to be hugely popular. The classes are the first of its kind in Ireland and are proving to be hugely successful with Tullamore youngsters,” explained Alun.

Aura would also like to remind people that they have just finished refurbishing their newly extended gym facilities to mark their first Birthday this October and to accommodate the increased number of people who have visited the centre since it opened almost one year ago.

“We are constantly striving to improve our services and facilities at Aura, so in order to cater for the increased number of people that are regularly visiting our centre we have refurbished and expanded our fitness gym. We thought it would be the ideal way to celebrate our first Birthday and the best way to ensure that all our facilities remain top class,” added Alun.
