Family Fun at Aura this Sunday

Families looking for a fun day out have the perfect opportunity to enjoy themselves this weekend with Aura Trim Leisure Centre who are extending an open invitation to all for their ‘Family Fun Day’.

Aura Trim is one of the most popular family recreational centres in Meath and staff at the centre have been busy organising a host of activities for children and adults to enjoy when the event takes place this Sunday, October 11th.

“Our Family Fun Day is one of the busiest days of the year and we have plenty for families with children of all ages to enjoy. There is no entry fee and all of our staff are looking forward to meeting members and visitors and answering any questions about our ‘Pay as You Go’ service, our fitness classes, or about how to enrol in the Aura ‘Swim Academy’,” explained Emma Donegan, Operations Manager at Aura Trim Leisure Centre.

All of the action gets underway at 1p.m.There is no shortage of entertainment with a jam packed schedule of activities including novelty races, bouncing castles, face painting, spot prizes, a treasure hunt and a children’s play house on site. Children can also take to the pool for a fun swim between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. for only €3 and family swims cost €15.

“The Fun Family Day is a great way for families to kick back, relax and enjoy a great day out together. We have a host of activities and events guaranteed to keep everyone entertained,” added Emma

Aura would also like to remind parents that they are still taking enrolments the next course of its popular ‘Swim Academy’. Enrolment costs €73 for the ten weeks and includes a free skills assessment. Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment and a 10% discount applies for Aura members.

“The Aura ‘Swim Academy’ is suitable for children of all ages and all abilities. Each child is assessed at the beginning of the course and is put into a class that reflects their ability rather than their age so that they are learning alongside children of the same standard. We feel this is the best way to teach children as it allows them the opportunity to progress at their own pace,” explained Emma.
