Aspiring dancers to perfect their moves at Aura

The town of Navan is set to boast some of the best and brightest dancers in the county following news of an exciting new dance class being launched at Aura Leisurelink Navan.

The ‘Adult Dance Classes’ are based on a combination of hip hop and disco dance moves. They are a more modern take on the standard gym class and provide a great cardio workout.

“These classes are an ideal choice for anyone who wants to kick start their fitness routine with something a little bit different. The are a great way to have fun, workout and improve your dance skills at the same time” explained Lorna Donegan Operations Manager at Aura Lesiurelink Navan

“Aura’s aim is to offer everybody, no matter what their age or fitness level, the opportunity to improve their health and fitness as well as have fun. Top of that bill is ensuring they have access to fun and exciting fitness classes that will stimulate their desire to exercise,” added Lorna.

The ‘Adult Dance Classes’ commence on Wednesday 23rd September. Classes take place on Wednesdays at 7 pm. The course costs €70 for the eight weeks. For anyone who wants to try out the class before they sign up, Aura are offering a free taster evening for people to sample the class on Wednesday, 16th September at 7 p.m.

Aura is also reminding parents that they are still taking enrolments for the Saturday classes of its popular ‘Swim Academy.’ Enrolment costs €73 for the ten weeks and includes a free skills assessment. Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment and a 10% discount applies for Aura members.

“Each child who enrols on the academy will be assessed and assigned to a class which reflects their ability instead of their age. In this way, they will be learning alongside swimmers of the same standard and progressing at their own pace,” explained Lorna.

Aura is also reminding parents that they are now offering an extra fun swim session for children who are at the beginners level of the Aura ‘Swim Academy’. The fun swim sessions take place every Thursday at 3 pm. and cost €4 per child.

“The fun swim session is just an extra class for children who need to further build their confidence in the water. The focus of the class is to allow children to have fun in the water while at the same time progress their swimming ability,” explained Lorna.
