Aura host free ‘Health and Fitness Information Event’ at Marshes Shopping Centre

Anyone looking for some motivation to get their winter fitness programme up and running have been handed the perfect opportunity, thanks to Aura Dundalk Leisure Centre who is hosting a free ‘Health and Fitness Information Event’ in the Marshes Shopping Centre on Saturday, November 7th.

Aura’s fully qualified gym instructors and membership consultant will be available all afternoon to talk to anyone about their health and fitness plans.

“Aura offers everyone, no matter what their age or fitness level, the opportunity to improve their health and fitness and to have fun. Anyone is welcome to come along and get advice from our instructors or make an appointment for a free fitness assessment,” said Sarah Byrne, Operations Manager at Aura Dundalk Leisure Centre.

“Aura’s fully qualified fitness instructors will be on hand to advise people on any nutritional or health questions they may have. It promises to be a great afternoon where people can learn loads and more importantly see how we can help them with their personal health and fitness goals. There will also be promotional events and special membership offers available on the day” added Sarah.

Aura’s fitness instructors will be showcasing the hugely successful Power Plate which is fast becoming a popular workout option for many people. This revolutionary new machine is particularly great for toning and increasing muscle strength and flexibility. Aura’s fitness instructors will also be demonstrating some of the Aura fitness classes including Spin and Fit-ball.

Aura is also reminding parents that they are now taking enrolments for the next course of its popular ‘Swim Academy’ which gets underway on the Wednesday, November 11th. Enrolment costs €73 for the ten weeks. Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment and a 10% discount applies for Aura members.

Aura’s experienced instructors will be on hand to guide each child through the basics of swimming and improve their skills through a programme of gradual progression and motivation.

“Aura ‘Swim Academy’ is suitable for children of all ages and all abilities. Each child is put into a class that reflects their ability rather than their age so that they are learning alongside children of the same standard. We feel this is the best way to teach children as it allows them the opportunity to progress at their own pace,” explained Sarah.
