Aura to turn 99 locals into fitness machines in 99 days

All eyes will be on selected Aura Leisure Centres over the next three months where staff have embarked on a unique challenge to turn 99 locals into lean, mean fitness machines in just 99 days.

The initiative was launched to give a helping hand to those who are serious about taking action when it comes to getting fit and getting into shape in time for Christmas while also gaining a head start on the traditional New Year resolutions to exercise and keep fit.

“This is a serious challenge and our fully trained team of gym and swim instructors will be on hand to ensure that each of the 99 people who sign up as members for the 99 days are given every opportunity to achieve their personal fitness goals,” explained Patricia Coyle, Operations Manager at Aura Letterkenny Leisure Complex.

“We don’t want people who really want to start exercising to be put off by the price of becoming a member so anyone who signs up for the 99 days will only have to pay €99 with the price including free health screening and fitness assessment,” Patricia added.

“That works out at €1 a day and we are also providing free access to all of our fitness classes and aqua-fit classes to ensure that we realise our target of improving the health and changing the lifestyles of 99 locals before the year is out while also encouraging them to maintain the habit of exercising well into the New Year,” she continued.

The 99 members will also be invited to register the names of family and friends who will be presented with free passes so that they too can enjoy the state of the art facilities that Aura has to offer.

Members visiting one of the Aura centres launching this promotion can also avail of free parking and members who sign their children up for swimming lessons are entitled to a 10% discount.

The 99 memberships are available from November 1st at Aura Leisure Centres in Dundalk, Trim, Navan, Letterkenny, Youghal, Tullamore and Carrick-on-Shannon.
