Aura promotes group exercise with free classes

Aura Leisure Centres are out to prove that there is strength in numbers by offering free group exercise classes to those who want to kick-start new exercise regimes in the company of friends and family.

Anyone with a friend or relative who is already a direct debit or annual member at Aura can tag along with that person for free on Friday, February 19th and 26th to experience what the facility has to offer.

“Our ‘Free Friend Friday’ initiative is all about motivating and inspiring friends and family to exercise together. Every member is entitled to bring one person for free that day and we have group exercises to suit every new guest,” said Siobhan Perry, Operations Manager at Aura Leitrim Leisure Centre.

“People are more motivated to exercise when they have a friend or family member to accompany them and our group exercise classes are always fantastic fun with plenty of friendly encouragement,” she added.

“This is an ideal way for people who have thought about joining Aura to try out our facilities for free and to enjoy a morning, afternoon or evening workout with their friends, mums, dads, brothers or sisters,” Siobhan continued.

Members taking up the ‘Free Friend Friday’ offer can simply sign in the person accompanying them at reception either Friday and that person is then free to use the pool and the gym and to take part in group exercise classes.

“Finding the motivation to start exercise can be a challenge at the best of times. Exercise is always more fun when you have a training partner. Our group exercise classes have become hugely popular and anyone giving them a try will discover that they are an ideal way to meet people and to achieve fitness goals,” Siobhan said.

People availing of the offer are advised to book group exercise classes in advance due to the popularity of classes.
