At Aura we want everybody to safely enjoy their visit to our Aura facilities. We aim to assist all visitors with disabilities when using our facilities; and if you need any assistance at any time, please feel free to ask a member of our staff.

You are also welcome to request this information by contacting us at accessibility@auragroup.ie prior to their visit.

Contact Details

Each Aura leisure centre has a special needs officer. Please feel free to ask the officer or any staff member for help. All these details are posted on our information point board on site. Our staff are on hand throughout the facility to help and give any assistance they can.

 

Parking

A number of disabled parking bays are located at the nearest point to the front
entrance. These are exclusively for your use and convenience. If you find these are unavailable to you on your visit, please contact a member of staff who will assist you with finding suitable parking. We would request that vehicles have disabled parking discs on view while parked in these bays.

 

Medical Services on Site

For details on where the main first aid station is located please contact reception.

In each Aura leisure centre we have fitted the following features for your convenience:

1. Entrance and exit ramps
2. Low level reception desks
3. Wide turnstiles
4. Guide rails
5. Pool Hoists
6. Induction loops
7. Hi-visibility markings on gym equipment
8. Illuminated stairways
9. Disabled viewing areas
10. Evacuations

In the unlikely event that the facility needs to be evacuated our staff will be on hand to help you immediately. It’s company policy to assist you as a priority in the event of an evacuation.

All of our visitor information is available in several formats for your convenience. If you require information in an alternative format e.g. large font please request this at reception and we will be happy to help you.
