Save money and shed pounds with Aura’s Christmas cure

Those feeling a pinch on their pockets and who are likely to feel another pinch on their waistlines this Christmas have been given something to celebrate thanks to Aura Leisure Centres.

Aura has just launched a new initiative which is certain to interest anyone overspending and overindulging during the yuletide festivities.

“Everyone spends more and eats more than they bargained for during the Christmas holidays and the fallout from that is that everyone becomes more focused on saving money and shedding the weight they have gained once the New Year rolls round,” explained Dorothy Costello, Regional Manager at Aura Tullamore Leisure Centre.

“Our cure for that is to allow anyone who is interested to use our facilities for the 12 days from Sunday, December 20th to Tuesday, January 5th for a once-off fee of just €19.99*” she added.

“The whole idea is to encourage people to use their holiday time to exercise rather than overindulging on food and savouries and to open up our facilities to people at a price that won’t strain their pockets,” Dorothy continued.

“We understand that people want to make the most of Christmas and we have something to ensure that people of all ages get to have fun and feel better about themselves at Aura,” she added.

“This is an ideal opportunity to start a new exercise regime and to try out our 25 metre swimming pool, state of the art gym, or any one of our many fitness classes such as aqua-fit, indoor cycling and step aerobics,” Dorothy added.
